Growing Hot Peppers in Manitoba
Tuesday, March 11, 2025
Bobbie & Don Bartros from B & D Spice Mixers will share their knowledge on hot peppers. Don has been growing peppers for at least 25 years starting with the usual jalapeno, habanero and then, oh my, the ghost pepper! Back then, it was THE pepper to grow. If you could grow it, you were something. With the internet a whole new world of hot peppers opened up. You couldn't imagine that there were that many pepper types.
Don will tell us how he grows them here in Manitoba with tips on growing your own hot peppers. They have developed a variety of pepper mixes and will have some for sale.
